A “trip of a lifetime”. Our trip to Nigeria is one we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Uncle Raymond Dapo guided us through everything we needed to do to plan our trip: passports, flights, living arrangements, changing our dollars to their currency, etc. It was so easy!! We really enjoyed the tours and we made friends and now have family members in Nigeria that we truly love. We would love to travel to Nigeria again someday

Our three and half weeks visit to Nigeria in October 2016, with Raymond “Dapo” Odunlami, created memories for my wife and I that will never be washed away. We still talk of memories of our trip every day. We had never been to Nigeria or West Africa yet it felt like a “homecoming”. Nigerians are generously welcoming which enabled an immediate and direct connection and a deeply genetic connection with people who looked like us.

Dapo ensured our trip was strikingly diverse on multiple levels. Immense and flourishing Lagos was “home base” but from there we visited 6 of Nigeria 36 states, each with its own local character and flavors. And these weren’t just “side” trips but trips with depth worthy of destination in their own right. These destinations included historic Abeokuta, Ogun State and the trek up the revered Olumo Rock, Ife in Osun State, probably the oldest town of the Yoruba people, Ibadan the huge city of 3 million in Oyo State.
